This organization is responsible for studying and presenting provincial national economy and social development strategies and the long- and middle-term planning and the planning of productivity layout; for the general management of the examination and approval, bridging, evaluation and adjustment of all kinds of planning; for guiding making long- and middle-term planning for the Commission and the local government; for bridging long- and middle-term planning to annual planning; for presenting the targets and policies of restructure of economy and industry development; for laying down the provincial planning for the third industry and participating the study of development strategy of the service industry and the planning of urbanization; for participating the preliminary work of major construction project.
