| On June 28th, “Seminar on the Investment of Resources from Western Australia (Wenzhou)” was jointly organized by Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission, Western Australian Government’s Trade and Investment Office in China, and the Department of Industry and Resources of Western Australia. Over 30 private enterprises in Zhejiang were present at the seminar. During the seminar, Zhuang Binjun, the chief representative of the Western Australian Government’s Trade and Investment Office in China, briefed on the economy of Western Australia, the resource investment opportunities, some relevant cases and the economic link between China and Western Australia. Chen Hui’e, senior project manager of China Branch of Western Australian Industry and Resource Department, introduced their investment policies and the project approval procedures, while representative from the Foreign Investment Office of Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission introduced Zhejiang’s overseas investment and relevant policies. The Export-Import Bank of China, Zhejiang Branch, and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, Zhejiang Branch introduced the overseas investment and the insurance policies respectively, followed by heated discussion with enterprises. |
